Safeguarding at TESMI
TESMI is committed to creating safe, respectful, and inclusive spaces for everyone connected to our work. This includes children, young people, adult participants, adults at risk, staff, volunteers, parents and guardians, partners, vendors, and community members.
We have zero tolerance for abuse, exploitation, harassment, neglect, discrimination, retaliation, and abuse of power. Our Safeguarding Policy explains the standards everyone representing or working with TESMI must follow, the behaviours that are prohibited, how safeguarding risks are managed and how concerns are handled.
Anyone can report a safeguarding concern, whether they experienced it, witnessed it, or reasonably suspect that someone may be at risk. Reports may be made confidentially or anonymously. TESMI will treat every genuine concern seriously, prioritise immediate safety, and protect people who report in good faith from retaliation.
